- Each party meets with a Team Coordinator, to review the circumstances and determine whether the Divorce Connections Process is appropriate for you and your specific needs.

- You and/or your spouse meet with team professionals to gather information, ask questions and determine needs. Separate or joint meetings, as appropriate are held with

- Divorce Coaches / Counselors
- Team develops a proprietary, customized “Connections for Completion” Roadmap for Success. Plan is reviewed and discussed and preliminary documents and information are reviewed, gathered and authorized in anticipation of the next step.
- A series of “Working Meetings” are held with other professionals to resolve concerns and reach agreement.
- Agreement is drafted, reviewed for accuracy, submitted to the court and signed by a judge.
- Post-Divorce Meetings are also held with estate planners, insurance agents or counselors to help complete the process.
- First Working Meeting: Both Spouses, the Mediator and any Attorneys meet to begin the process and help stabilize the family situation.
- The Mediator will further explain the process and answer any questions you may have.
- Key components of these working meetings are communication, participating with integrity, negotiating in good faith, cautions and limitations, use of experts and consultants, limited court intervention, disqualification, withdrawal, termination of the Divorce ConnectionsTM Process, confidentiality, rights and obligations of pending settlement, and enforceability.
- Pressing issues are also addressed to stabilize the family situation.
- Subsequent Working Meetings are held jointly or separately to with other team members to resolve other areas of concerns like finances, children, etc.
- Subsequent Working Meetings are held, involving other Professional Members and/or Attorneys, as necessary, until settlement is reached.
- There is no "cookie-cutter" way to structure the Divorce ConnectionsTM Process because every case in unique with its own needs and requirements. Therefore, different combinations of meetings and Professional members will take place in order to bring the case to completion. The beauty of the Divorce ConnectionsTM Process is that parties can be confident their case will get personalized attention every step of the way and for every specific aspect in personal life.
- Communication among Professional Members continues.
- Professionals will continue to communicate with one another through meetings, telephone calls and e-mail in order to facilitate settlement and problem-solving, as necessary.
- Agreement is drafted and reviewed
- The mediator may draft a summary agreement or an attorney may prepare the final divorce agreement
- Pre-Closing Meeting and Final Meeting
- In this session, the final divorce agreement is reviewed for accuracy and agreement
- If everything is satisfactory, the final divorce agreement will be executed and submitted to court
- In this Final Meeting, a wrap-up conversation will be available to say “good-bye” and gain closure.
- This is the culmination of hours of hard work and cooperation among the parties and professionals. There is no greater satisfaction for Professional Members than to complete a case, knowing they have done their very best work to facilitate a positive future for everyone involved. There is no greater satisfaction for a divorcing couple than to know that they have ended their marriage with a measure of dignity and respect.
- Post Divorce Meetings
- Meetings with a Mediator or other Professional Members may be desired to help resolve any post-divorce concerns about co-parenting or counseling in general
- Other Professional Members may be utilized to help in financial affairs or estate planning.
